Posted by DJ on June 7th, 2010 A wireless connection is the “In” thing nowadays. I personally think that it is a good idea; I wanted to try one myself. Wires are such as hassle, they make your workplace look messy. So I went to the Used Cisco store in our area and checked their wireless systems.
It was better than I expected, I also saw their Used Cisco Switches (these are the tool used by my friends to create a LAN for their computers). Aside from the wireless stuff that they sell, they also offer warranty and maintenance to their products. When buying things the first things that you have to ask is their quality, the next would be their warranty. It is important that you know how their warranty work. If my router will stop working, I could use that warranty for repairs and maintenance purposes. I never thought that having a wireless internet connection could be this good.
I should have tried it long ago, I love my wireless router! It makes me feel like a techie person. If I would need any more networking tools, I am in luck - I now know where to get it.
Posted by DJ on November 10th, 2009 The home audio installers that we hired did a fantastic job. I knew that we had chosen the best company for the job when I read all of their customer testimonials on their website. I had also seen some of their work first hand, on their site. I watched a video of a homeowner who had recently used them to be their home audio installers give a tour of his house after the work was completed. I called them the moment that the video was done and hired them without them even seeing our house.
I did not care what it cost; I just knew that I wanted it done. I completely trusted them to do a professional job and to be fair in their pricing. After they completed the home audio, my husband asked them if they knew anything about home theater systems and they did.
The same crew of technicians was back the following week to install one of the biggest home theater systems that they offered. I guess since I got my home audio system that it is okay that my husband gets his home theater system and then we will be tech set for years to come.
Posted by DJ on April 24th, 2008 How do you deal with your excess stock? There are certain ways to deal with your excess stock and get rid of obsolete electronic components. It’s not a big issue these days. The first things stupid about the excess stock is the place that could be better used for other things and marketing other products.
Second, the products keep on depreciating for all its life and keeps declining in its real value. The depreciation methods may be different, from straight-line to double declining, depending on the firm’s way of accounting and the maintenance of accounting books. The obsolete electronic components are a big headache for the firms these days and could cause some space and value declining problems too.
One needs to get rid of these components and deal well with surplus electronic components now. Especially the edibles and juice items can expire and no one would like to buy them after they expire. If you find some excess stock in your retail food or edible business firm, either trade it or sell it in advance to hedge against the list of risks that it would be offering you.
Always sell and trade it for cash. The barter may not be a better option for you. If you can get something in cash quickly, you can use it for other purposes too. The cash can be simply invested in some ways and business too. Also, cash is the most liquid of all the balance sheet assets.
