I Got A Used Dell For Christmas

Posted by DJ on August 23rd, 2009

I am hoping to get a new computer for Christmas from my parents. They told me that they could not afford to get me a new computer and that I would have to wait until things got better at my dad’s job. I was very sad and went to my room that night.

The next morning, I went to my friend Sue’s house for a sleepover. She had just gotten a new computer and could not wait to show it to me. When she showed it to me, she told me that it was a used dell and her parents paid hardly anything for it. I asked her all sorts of questions about it and she told me that it also had one of those used poweredge servers in it.

As soon as I got home, told my parents all about the cheap used dell computer that my friend had gotten. I even gave them the name of the website where her parents had gotten it from. I knew that it was still a long shot and I was not going to hold my breath.

On Christmas morning, I unwrapped the coolest used dell computer you have ever seen. They even remembered to choose the best used poweredge server for it. I was so happy that morning, and I called my Sue right away.

Got Some Used Sun Servers To Resell

Posted by DJ on August 13th, 2009

I was trying to find a couple of items the other day on one of those auction sites and came across some used sun servers that were at a very low price. The auction did not end for another four hours, so I made a mental note to check back before it ended to see if it had gone up any.

When I went back to check the end of the auction, I ended up bidding and winning the used sun servers for a remarkably low price. I was so excited that I called my best friend to tell him. He said that he had won an auction last week for a used sun computer. We were laughing at the fact that we had both bid on and won used sun computer equipment.

I ended up reselling my used sun servers to the local computer store for double the cost of what I had paid for them. I was happy and thinking that this might be something to do more often. I called and asked my friend to keep checking the prices of the auctions that had any used sun computer equipment and then explained how I had sold the servers I had just bought for a great profit to the computer store.

He was very jealous, because he had only purchased the used sun computer to use it, not to turn a profit. I told him that we could start buying and reselling together and he agreed to it.

Posted by DJ on May 5th, 2009

Dell laptops are one of the most popular and well known brands in the computer markets. Naturally there is also a huge demand for the Dell computer parts. Good news for you is that such parts are available in the market most of the times. They are the most sold for the laptops. In addition, most of the manufacturers of laptops also make parts that are compatible with Dell.

However many people carry doubts in their minds about availability of parts for their used Dell laptops they might have purchased in order to save money. They apprehend non availability of parts could turn their profitable deal into a losing proposition at the end of it.

If you take into consideration the current market trends that is full of unscrupulous and dishonest traders, their apprehensions may not look without basis. However with Dell such apprehensions are really without any reason. All refurbished Dell products are duly certified and if you have bought them from the authorized representative you will have no problem either in getting the spare parts or repair the existing defective parts at any time.

And that applies in case of the used Dell PowerEdge Servers as well. All parts that are required to run them smoothly are available with the authorized Dell dealers. In addition they allow third party intervention, replacements, and repair when they themselves cannot sort out the problems relating to the server or some of its defective parts.

Learning about Types of Computer Memory

Posted by DJ on July 28th, 2008

Although computer memory works off the same concept, different companies offer slightly different things to the consumer. For instance, Ambra memory, Inspirion memory, and eServer memory all associated with computers and all work in much the same way but the amount of memory can vary. In addition to memory varying from brand to brand, each company offers a number of different options for the consumer. If you are in the market to buy a new computer, choosing the right memory will be one of the main factors in your consideration. As an example, if you plan to play video games or run high-speed programs off the computer, you need more memory than if you were just going to perform word processing.

Computer memory not only provides space, a place where data, audio, and video information are stored, but it also has to do with the overall speed of the system. Another important factor in your decision has to do with not just one type of memory, but all types of memory. Including hard drives, most computers consist of different forms of memory to include:

BIOS
Caching
RAM
ROM
Virtual Memory
Flash
Removable Storage
