The company that my dad works for was replacing all of their computer equipment last summer and put out an ad that they would be selling all of the old stuff in a public sale. The public sale was scheduled for a weekend that I knew I would not be in town. I was disappointed because I knew that they had used pseries servers that could be very useful to my computer business.

I told my dad that if he could get to the sale, then he should pick up all the used bladecenter servers and the used pseries servers that they had, and I would pay him back when I got back from my trip. He did not think that he would be able to make it to the sale, but promised to try.

When I returned back from my trip, about a week after the sale, my dad called to let me know that he had been unable to go to the sale, but he had sent my mother. I was really worried because my mother probably bought all the wrong things.

I drove over to their house to see what she had bought, and how much I owed them. I was just hoping that whatever she bought would be useful to me. She actually bought two used pseries and three used bladecenter servers for a great price. My mom did a good job.
