Floor is a surface or façade of a place on which people standing up or walking or sits. In winter there would be some ugly crack between each plank due to leaving out of moisture. And in summer if there would be too much humidity, it may affect the plank to collapse or cup. That’s why during installation of a strip floor to put a good expansion region around the edge.
